He designed a drum set from Anatolian drums and Janissary band drums and he calls it tubul. Tubul means drums in Ottoman. The set is composed of kös (kettle drums of Janissary band), nakkare (nakers; small kettle drums of Janissary band), darbuka, bendir, davul (asma davul or Ramazan davulu), tef, cymbals, spoon set (wooden spoons) and Turkish crescent. Davul is played with foot, it is in kick drum formation of traditional drum set. With this, it is possible to play four limb coordination and to be able to play new polyrhythm patterns and forms.
